These real, but rather weird, family short stories are reported just as I remembered them, or as they were told to me by the people who lived them The stories are very brief, so they are an easy read, although the reader may find some of them depressing or provocative. Their common thread is dementia, fading memories, dubious miracles and incompetent gods. But there’s hopefully enough (dark) humor to keep you going beyond the first page.Michel Accad was born in Beirut and grew up in Geneva, Rome, and Beirut, before completing his MBA at the University of Texas at Austin. He then joined Citibank and held various senior positions in Africa and the Middle East.He finally decided to retire from banking and return to Lebanon in late 2020. But his retirement plans did not quite work out as intended.Michel is an avid Science Fiction reader. In his spare time, he also writes short, irreverent fiction in French and English for himself and his friends. This is his first publication.Michel is married to Randa, and they have three grown-up children living in America.
